I was raised in East Tennessee and graduated not long after 9/11. That generationally-defining event led me to enlist in the Army after high school. I became a counterintelligence agent and deployed twice before leaving the service.

After my time in the military was over, I found and married the girl I had taken to the prom 5 years earlier, and we went to work in Christian ministry. Over the years I have served as a youth pastor, executive pastor and senior pastor.

I’ve worked as a news talk and Christian talk radio host in Tennessee and Minnesota, both as a local host and nationally.

My Bachelor’s degree is in Political Science: Public Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

My Master’s degree is in Theological Studies from Liberty University.

My wife and I have 3 beautiful little girls and we live in Nashville, TN.

I Defend Things Worth Protecting

I’m a natural defender. In the Army I defended our mission. As a pastor I defended biblical doctrine. In radio and tv I defended American values. Defending important things is at my core.

I Seek Truth

We live in a day when truth is considered subjective. This isn’t reality. Some things are right and some things are wrong. This principle guides me in everything I do.

Personal Liberty & Responsibility

There are 2 things that hurt an individual/group:

1. Having everything done for you.

2. Not being allowed to do anything.

The best case scenario is one in which you are allowed to succeed or fail, and if you reach out for help, someone is there for you. Not to do your work or micromanage you, but to help you be your best. I always err on the side of personal liberty, and do my best to help those who need genuinely need it.

My Approach

I’m not afraid of a challenge.

Doing big things requires bravery and determination, and I take that mindset everywhere. Whether it’s discussing politics on the radio, preaching the Bible behind the pulpit, or consulting with a company about their struggles, I always bring a vision of victory and success.

God has already given us everything we need to get our jobs done, so we might as well get started.

“Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.”
